Musangu Foundation Forges New Partnerships

The Musangu Foundation’s fundraising Director, Vicki Partridge and Operations Director, Emma Parker spent time over January visiting the Mazabuka district of Zambia- the chosen launch location for the first of the foundation’s projects. A number of exciting meeting were held with a wide range of social investment companies, with a firm focus on in country led enterprise.

Vicki from the Musangu Foundation said ‘we met with a number of fabulous companies in Zambia, all looking to bring new technologies to address some basic issues, such as energy resource, efficiency and availability. Sunny Money with their inexpensive solar powered lights and Emerging Cooking Solution’s latest bio-fuel pellets and gasification stoves were amongst the highlights. We very much hope to partner with these types of businesses in the future and bring affordable and efficient solutions to everyday problems facing the communities we work in’.
